People just don't understand,

you can't simply buy happiness & sunshine off the stand.

Was a civilised land healing but grieving from yester's pain,

thus Khmers' colors are rather plain.

They rejoice quietly while struggling weakling smiles,

hoping we can understand their horrid past.

Who wants to go around touting One Dollar, One Dollar...

but a father, a mother, a son & a daughter.

It's ok their history you're not at all keen, but don't scream & shout killing their self-esteem.
